Childhood Immunizations

Daycare and School Vaccination Requirementsbabies
Idaho law rquires that children must be up-to-date on their immunizations in order to attend a licensed day care facility or school. This is because diseases like measles and whooping cough spread quickly in day care facilities and schools, so children need to be protected before they attend.

Childhood Immunization Appointments
Eastern Idaho Public Health District offers all children's immunizations by appointment. Call your local health district office to schedule an appointment.

For children with insurance or Mediaid, Eastern Idaho Public Health District will bill for childhood immunization services. For all other children, payment is expected at the time of service. Cash, check, or credit card payments are accepted. However, Idaho is a Vaccine for Children (VFC) state, which means no child will be denied immunization services based on an inability to pay.
